Piece number 23 (1/31/07). Well I am still feeling bad (I have a low grade cold it seems) and I wanted to do something a bit simplier today, so I can catch up on other work.

One a (week)day: Day 22 – Turtles

Piece number 22 (1/30/07). Once again I am feeling ill. I was not able to work on a piece until this evening. Though I finished it with 35 minutes to spare in the day. Their names are Tardy and Sorbet!

Piece number 21 (1/29/07). I went out for a late Sunday breakfast yesterday with my mind on pancakes, bacon, and home fries. Though something else on the menu caught my eye and I ordered that instead and have regretted it since. I really want some pancakes now.

Piece number 20 (1/26/07). A posting on craigslist from a sushi resteraunt inspired this piece.

Piece number 19 (1/25/07). Today I went for a little something different. It is a raspberry newton (not fig b/c I do not like fig newtons). I thought the newton by itself was a bit boring – plus I got to use the fun neon papers I have.

–UPDATE 10/03/08 — Again I thought this was good fit for the Illustration Friday theme of the week of “sugary”. This is another week where I am doubtful I will get to working on a new work for this theme, but I wanted to participate. I am working on my one large new work and I may start a smaller piece as well, I had an idea flash into my head last night and I want to get the work created.

One a (week)day: Day 16 – Zicam

Piece number 16 (1/22/07). Today’s piece may not be the greatest – but darn it, I have a cold. I am uncomfortable and did not feel well enough to use a knife until this evening. I do love the Zicam – don’t know if it really works or not, but I’ll keep taking it.

Piece number 15 (1/19/07). I had the hardest time selecting a subject for today’s piece. This is what I came up with for the day – the jar with my main cooking utensils (subject provided by James) {see what happens when you make a suggestion}. This is also a tiny glimpse of my kitchen.
