One a (week)day: Day 138 - Flamingo

Piece number 138 (09/11/07). Yesterday’s seahorse made me think of other animals which are naturally bright and fun colored - and then I thought of the flamingo. I could not get the web image to be as bright as the accurate color. I even got to use an appropriately named color for the background - its called lagoon. Check out the detail shots to see all the feathers and the cutting on the neck to make everything look right.
4″x 6″:: $45 unframed original piece, $75 framed original piece. Once the original sells, limited edition giclee prints will be available at $25 (unframed)
–UPDATE– Original has been sold. A limited edition of 100 giclee prints are now available for $30 ($25 for the print and $5 for USPS Priority mail) INTL customers please email me for shipping costs. Also framing is available for an additional $30. All prints are on an art paper with a hand-cut signature.
