Piece number 208 (12/29/07). It’s been a week and this piece is for Illustration Friday with the theme being “Soar”. I have wanted to make a dandelion for some time now – so this was a good fit. Plus I wanted to make the last 2007 Illustration Friday piece a good one!

–UPDATE 06/21/08– Original has been sold. A limited edition of 100 digital prints are now available for $30 ($25 for the print and $5 for USPS Priority mail) INTL customers please email me for shipping costs. Also framing is available for an additional cost. All prints are on an art paper with a hand-cut signature.

Email for availability and payment directions or for more information – like larger and more detailed images.

I enjoy these paper cuts so much I had to go through and peek at the archives. Beautiful work. For a couple years I created Scherenschnitte (scissor-cut) designs, long ago. Your layered designs are intricate, clean and fun to view.

the art

All my artwork is made of paper. It is only created using paper, glue, and patience. The works on this site represent the pieces that I am attempting to create each weekday. These pieces are available to purchase and once an original is sold prints will become available. Other work can be viewed on my main site - www.sagworks.com. Larger works are available to purchase as originals or prints through sagworks.com. I am also available for commissioned pieces.
