February 25, 2008 - Multiples (Illustration Friday)
February 26, 2008

{click the image for a larger view} 02/25/08. I worked a long time tonight on my Illustration Friday piece with the theme of “multiples”. My husband suggested nesting dolls as a joke - but I thought it was a cool idea. I was in the mood to do something a bit more graphic than my usual works. I am quite happy with this, but my hand is paying the price! The small one on the right is just over an inch, the body is about 3/4″ tall. All the dolls are made of 2 pieces of paper - head and body.
4″x 9″:: $150 framed original piece. Once the original sells, limited edition digital prints (of 100) will be available for $25 (unframed)
Email for availability and payment directions or for more information - like larger and more detailed images.
On another note. It is official I am an artist in residence! I turned in my contract today and picked up my keys. I hope to get my studio set up this weekend.

Lovely design - the nesting dolls are beautiful individually and the lightening colours really mess with my eyes (in a good way).
