sagworks :: 2008 Art Everyday

So Artomatic is opening soon - May 9th. Only 2 weeks away. It should be a great event. I am in a framing frenzy to get a bunch of never shown pieces framed and ready to hang in my space. I had to run around the area today to get the last of the frames that I use. Tonight will be day 3 of framing. I spent one day cutting boards and cutting a few window mats and day 2 was spent cutting the rest of the window mats and cutting out some lettering. I want to get everything ready to have a great display with a lot of work to see.

Details: Artomatic is a month-long multimedia arts event that draws together visual artists, musicians and performers and brings their work to the community without charge in Washington, DC.

How to get there: 1200 First Street, NE, Washington, DC. We’re in the new 12-story glass building at the corner of M Street, and one block west of the Red Line’s New York Avenue/Florida Avenue/Gallaudet University Station. The Metro station is just one block from Artomatic.
