June 7, 2008 – DNA status
June 7, 2008
I went in and finished the third strand of DNA. It is slow going, but I know it will look great when I get all the strands completed. I am thinking of 15 strands total – maybe more, maybe less. After each strand I put them together and see how they look. With only 3 strands it is looking sparse.
This morning I went to a potluck luncheon as part of the the Laurel Art Guild. It was a lot of fun and as a new member I got to show off a bit of the group. There was a lot of yummy food (I need some of the recipes) and even better company. It was a good time to meet many members. Thank you for everyone that came
I spent the bulk of my time in studio working on something completely unrelated. We are having a baby shower for someone in the community center – so a bunch of people are decorating onesies. Now it is not a surprise and I do not think any of the people read my blog – but if you are interested check out the first side of the onesie I got done today. I still need to do the back and touch this up – but you get the idea.
