Neon Moai is framed

July 21, 2010 at 2:05 pm 1 comment

I got my special frame for Neon Moai and it is framed and on its way to a special show, Atomic Tiki, at the Elroy ArtSpace in Portland Oregon. Pictures of work in the show have been posted on the curators facebook account and the show looks amazing. The show open August 2 and I’ll be posting the details shortly.

here is a closeup of the frame detail – it is a beautiful black lacquer.

While cutting own boards for this special mat, I had a wee accident and took a chunk of my left index finger out. I am right handed, but this does slow me down!

the art

All my artwork is made of paper. It is only created using paper, glue, and patience. The works on this site represent the pieces that I am attempting to create each weekday. These pieces are available to purchase and once an original is sold prints will become available. Other work can be viewed on my main site - Larger works are available to purchase as originals or prints through I am also available for commissioned pieces.
