041912-Atomic Fire status

So today I was basically spending my time in the studio playing with some ideas. My plan was to go in and play with textures – so this is what I worked up. I wanted to experiment with an idea for a technique that seemed to work out pretty well.

After that I wanted to work with some squiggles and play with some ideas. I am working on ideas for a fabric design and liked what I came up with in photoshop, but something was missing so I wanted to experiment with pieces of paper and see if I came up with something better. I love what I came up with and can’t wait to start working on the fabric design. Though this is what I came up with and I think this will be 1 of 4 – this being Fire.
