Piece number 61 (04/11/07). I knew I was going to do this after the beetle yesterday. The odd thing for me making an artwork out of a VW Beetle is that I am a die hard Mini Cooper fan and I have not even done my car yet. (I love Mini’s – mine is black and heavily checkerboarded.) I think at some point I will need to do a portrait of Minerva, my mini.

— UPDATE 100810 — Using this for this week’s Illustration Friday theme of “Transportation” it was a toss up between this piece or a commission work I did of an older Mercedes.
You sound like my husband about his Mini! But I LOVE this!!! This was my dream car growing up and your paper collages are so cool! And my favorite color is red. It’s just all around great!
Love your work! It´s just so inspiring!
This inspires me to try some collage. Nice!
