012216 – Red Legged Honey Creeper

{click for larger version} Yes, this is another tiny bird. While I was not so motivated to start this one, I am real happy with the outcome – he makes me smile. I love the look of his mohawk and his colors make me happy.  Check out the larger image to see all the details. I made sure to cut the background a littler larger to give the bird a little room to fly. I got this done right before Snowzilla started. I was working on the signature when the first flakes started to fall. Now it is starting to fall heavier and my road is heavier – so I will be indoors for at least 24 hrs.

The work itself is  roughly 5.75″ x 5.5″ || $TBD
