{click image for larger version} I am really happy with the end result. Check out the larger image to see all the details. There is a lot of texturizing on all the feathers. Like I’ve said before the feathers are all created using inlaid papers, so they are flat pieces instead of layered. I think he looks pretty real! Used some techniques from the other birds as well as experimenting with some other ideas.
The work itself is roughly 5″ x 7″. Not sure of the pricing yet, he’ll be a little more than the cardinal, because he is more technical.
